This family is standing in front of their tent.  They added an addition to their tent to create a shop where they sell dry food, spices, eggs, beans, etc.  Antoinier also works as part of the security force for the camp.  Frantzie (pictured) is ten years old.  Nerla is 4 years old.  Only the boy is able to go to school due to financial reasons.  Because the tent is too small to accommodate all of their children, 2 other children (not pictured) have to remain in the countryside.  Jonny Jeune

  • 10 10-25  The Marions, Wilbens (27) and Gladys (25) live on the church grounds of Lott Carey Church in Leogane. The church house was damaged in the earthquake, so Wilbens constructed a shelter made of tarps and wood next to the church and the family had been living there since the quake.   hn

  • 10 10-25  Wilbens and Gladys are grateful for the new house that has been built behind the church and have moved in. They appreciate most being able to stay dry now when it rains and they are thankful to have a solid floor instead of the dirt floor they slept on since the earthquake.   hn
