Monseñor Romero community
Our local Fuller Center Covenant Partner, called Gente Ayudando Gente (People Helping People), is building 90 homes in the city of Nuevo Cuscatlan, including a community of an estimated 79 homes. The new homes will be two-bedrooms of 425 square feet each, built as row houses due to the limited land available. The houses will have dry roofs, safe and healthy concrete block walls and concrete floors, flush toilets with septic tanks, and made ready for running water and electricity. The land has been donated by the city of Nuevo Cuscutlan. We're thrilled to be working with New Story Charity on this project. New Story Charity has found some tremendous success in raising funds, but they don't build houses themselves. The result is a perfect partnership.
